Every meaningful achievement begins with a belief. Mine is simple: better systems create better people.
That belief has shaped every chapter of my professional journey — from athlete to educator, from researcher to entrepreneur, from coach to founder.
Today, my work focuses on developing people, organizations, and ideas through leadership, education, sport, media, and human performance.
While the projects continue to evolve, the mission remains the same: help individuals and organizations become more capable, more confident, and more prepared for what comes next.
The Foundation
Long before I became a coach, educator, or founder, I was a student of performance.
As a former NCAA Division I soccer player, I experienced firsthand the demands of competition, preparation, discipline, and resilience. Sport taught me lessons that extended far beyond the field — lessons about leadership, accountability, decision-making, and the pursuit of excellence.
Those experiences shaped my understanding of human development and ultimately led me toward a career focused on helping others unlock their potential.
Education & Leadership
Learning systems. Leadership systems. Human systems.
My professional journey expanded into higher education, where I spent more than a decade teaching, mentoring, leading academic programs, and developing learning experiences designed to challenge people to think critically and grow intentionally.
Through teaching, research, and administration, I became increasingly interested in the systems that drive performance. Why do some people succeed while others struggle? Why do certain environments consistently produce excellence? How can leadership, education, and culture be intentionally designed to create better outcomes?
These questions continue to influence my work today. My academic background, including a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies, informs how I approach coaching, leadership, media, strategy, and enterprise development.
Building Royal United FC
In many ways, Royal United FC became the practical expression of everything I had learned.
The organization was founded on the belief that youth sports can be a powerful vehicle for developing intelligent performers, confident leaders, and resilient individuals.
Too often, development systems focus exclusively on results. My vision was different: build the person first. Develop technical ability, tactical intelligence, leadership, confidence, discipline, and character simultaneously. Create an environment where performance and personal growth exist together.
Today, Royal United FC continues to serve as a platform for athlete development, mentorship, leadership education, and community impact.
Beyond the Field
Although much of my current work exists within sport, my interests extend far beyond athletics.
I believe the principles that drive success in sport are remarkably similar to those that drive success in business, education, leadership, and life: clear vision, strong culture, disciplined execution, continuous learning, and long-term thinking.
These ideas form the foundation of my work as a coach, educator, researcher, writer, media strategist, and entrepreneur.

I am not interested in building a collection of businesses. I am interested in building a body of work.
